We need to take action to help create lasting change!

Ways You Can Advocate Today

Continue to support the regulated child care program your child is in. While raising rates is not something you or your facility are generally comfortable with, understand that this needs to take place to continue the current care your child is receiving.

Contact your legislative and local representatives to tell them your story – the need for child care, how it has helped you and your child and why quality care is needed. Encourage them to support child care in state and local budgets and work towards a long term solution for this child care crisis.

Contact your employer to see how they might invest in child care for their employees. What supports can they put in places for their employees? How can we work together?

Raising Wisconsin believes in a Wisconsin where children and families have the social, emotional and economic supports they need to thrive.

They have tools available on their website to help you advocate for child care.
